Here's how to prepare for your shoot to make the most of your branding photography session
Define Your Brand Before we even start talking about outfits or locations, take some time to get clear on your brand identity.
Ask yourself:
• What three words describe my brand?
• What do I want people to feel when they see my photos?
• What colors, textures, or settings represent me? Your answers help guide our creative direction—from wardrobe to backdrops.
Bring Meaningful Props Props help tell your story.
Think: laptop, notebook, product samples, camera, favorite mug, tools of your trade. Simple and relevant is key. Also bring a few personal items that make you feel confident (a favorite scarf, glasses, or jewelry). These can help you relax in front of the camera.
Professional hair and makeup help you look polished and confident, especially under studio lighting.
Plan Your Outfits Thoughtfully. Bring 2–3 outfits that reflect your brand and feel like YOU. Stick with solid colors or soft patterns. Neutrals, jewel tones, and soft earthy colors photograph beautifully. Here are some ideas:
